Death Work
My Death Work is a return to right-relationship between Life + Death. It is a returning of our ancestral rights to home visitations, wakes, and funerals in our communities, one family at a time. And, it aims to share and educate on what holistic and natural death care can look like in our families and homes.

Home Funerals, Visitations and Wakes
Up until about 170 years ago, we tended to our dying + dead loved ones in the home. Home funerals, visitations, and wakes are our ancestral right, and they are the most beautiful + intimate way of saying goodbye. In Death, our people are here one moment + gone in the next. Home funerals provide several points of connection in between those two moments, that support the mental, emotional + spiritual process of grieving. It is my honor to guide your family through the most sacred final rites + return this custom to our communities, one family at a time.
